Bio

Tammy Tantschev's energetic, disarming and deliciously irreverent brand of humour has been impressing the Sydney comedy scene since she first grabbed the mic in mid 2003.

With experience in acting, singing, TV presenting, voice-over and improvisation under her belt, Tammy's style is just a little bit different from your standard comic with extensive experience performing around Sydney.

Her debut television performance was as a featured comedian on the popular Channel 7 program "The Big Arvo" and her sensational character comedy can be found in the latest issue of the Multizine DVD - Rouser.

Tammy is one of the featured comics on the popular "Sydney Underground Comedy" DVD and co-hosted her own Comedy Podcast Show – "Radio Ha Ha". The show enjoyed ratings as one of iTunes most popular Australian podcasts. She also hosted her own music chart show "Chart Attack".

Stage performances include a role in "Tupperware" as part of the Pink Shorts Festival and Tammy also featured in Sydney's Cracker Comedy Festival as part of the cast of "The Idiot Box" - an improvised sketch show based on television parody. Tammy was also MC one of Sydney's most prestigious new music showcases "The S Factor" at Stage One bar, The Steyne Hotel in Manly.

Getting sand in her undies wasn't enough to dampen Tammy's comedic spirit and she enjoyed success as part of the British Aerospace comedy ensemble, starring in their 6th Annual comedy review which included sketch comedy and Tammy's stand up. The show had a very successful run.

Currently Tammy is lead singer of popular cover band "The Touch" and has proven her musical talent in spades, performing with the band across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at various events and functions.
